1993 Ford F-250

Description

Up for auction is my stunning 1993 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat pickup. This truck was sold new at McDowell Ford in Perryville, Mo. I had been looking for an extremely nice, original, low mileage F-250 to add to my collection. After seeing this truck listed for sale, I went straight to Missouri and purchased it directly from the 92 year old original owner. Both herself and I have always stored the truck inside, and it shows.
This is an extremely original truck. There has never been any body or paint work performed on it. The original paint still has a deep gloss, and all of the original decals are bright and colorful. It is an XLT Lariat model that that has every option available for the model year. This F-250 also has the optional, factory deluxe two-tone paint package. The body color is cabernet red and the accent color is medium silver metallic. It also has a matching GlassTite camper shell and matching fiberglass running boards, both in the factory cabernet red. The camper shell, running boards, and the chrome Hercules rear bumper were all installed when the truck was new. All of the glass is original Carlite glass with all of the factory decals.
The original owner purchased the truck new after her husband passed away as she planned to buy a camper and travel. She met someone soon thereafter who had a truck and a camper, so this was her "going into town" truck, meaning that she didn't use it as a truck. It has never pulled anything and was hardly ever used in the winter. The bed has seen very minimal use and has always had a rubber floor mat. There is a small scratch on the hood, and two small cracks in the running board above the passenger tire. These flaws are visible in the photos, and don't detract much from the truck.
Consistent with the low mileage, the interior is in impeccable condition. The original floor mats are in the truck. All of the original manuals are in the glove box. There are two sets of original Ford keys. I have the original window sticker, all original paperwork, and all maintenance records since the truck was new. The truck starts, runs, stops, shifts, and drives absolutely excellent. The original 7.5 liter EFI, 460 cubic inch motor runs great and has zero leaks. The electronic 4 speed automatic transmission shifts perfectly and has no leaks as well. There is no rust anywhere on the body, or on the undercarriage. The doors, cab corners, and wheel arches are completely solid. The A/C blows ice cold and everything on the truck works as new. This is an absolutely beautiful truck!
