2 theatre programs from a massive autograph collection that came into the store this summer.
I'm just cracking into the first boxes now & will be adding more listings to eBay regularly as I go.

Roundabout Theatre Company. April 1987. Signed by Karen Allen on the front cover.
The Kennedy Center. May 1987. Jack Gilford signed on the cast page in the middle
Karen Allen was in Animal House, but is best remembered from the Indiana Jones movies.
Jack Gifford was a star of stage and screen & was also caught up in McCarthy's anti-communist unpleasantness in the 1950s.

The gentleman who assembled this collection devoted himself full time to autograph collecting after a long career in academia. He spent his retirement writing letters to celebrities, scientists, athletes, artists & requesting signatures on First Day Covers and index cards and photographs. He went to the theatre and waiting at stage doors for actors; he went to conventions and store openings to get autographs every chance he got. The local mailman nicknamed him "Mr. Do Not Bend" for the steady stream of self-addressed enveloped he received every day from every manner of public figure. I am 100% confident in these autographs, and will stand behind their authenticity -- if you're not completely confident (please don't bid) -- but if you ever have reason to wonder, you can return them to me.
