Up for auction is a hand written note / letter, signed by Bernadette Peters.  The note is written on a sheet of heavy paper / stationary, measuring approximately 7.375 by 10.25 inches in size, and which had been folded in half, so that the note is written on only half of the sheet.  It is dated "Oct. 29, 1974" and reads:
"Dear Paul,
I'm happy you loved the show so much.  We do
too
!
I'm also very glad you wrote the letter.  It was very thoughtful of you to let me know how you felt.  It makes me feel very good.
Love,
Bernadette Peters"
Based on the date of the letter, it appears that the show she is referring to is "Mack & Mabel", which played on Broadway from October 6, 1974 until November 30, 1974, and in which she played a leading role.
The autographed letter is clean and in great condition, although there is a horizontal crease across its center, where the sheet had been folded in half once again.
