Big Lot! Florida Fossilized Bivalve (Clam) Shells 10+ Species! Pilocene Era

Description

Nice big lot of (Fossilized multi colored toned Florida Bivalve Shells. 10+ Species.
Fossils are well preserved. Pieces have been lightly rinsed and soaked in mineral oil to strengthen them.
I want to name the colored ones Fruitvale Blues due to the unique colors from minerals in ground of the Fruitvale area of Sarasota County.
For identification I referred to The Neogene Atlas of Ancient Life and contacted the University of Florida Museum of Natural History’s Invertebrate Paleontology Collections Department and they identified as a Pilocene era fossil from the Pinecrest Beds of the Tamiami Formation.
Each shell will be wrapped individually and shipped with care.
