    Robert E. "Bob" Lee, o
utlaw and cohort of Butch Cassidy, was
    a
known member of the notorious Butch Cassidy's "Wild Bunch." Lee is also the cousin of the infamous Wild Bunch member, Harvey "Kid Curry" Logan. Lee introduced the Logan Brothers, Harvey, Hank, John and Lonny to the "Hole-in-the-wall" hideout where the Logans met Butch Cassidy and Harry Longbaugh (Sundance Kid). Robert was involved in several of the train robberies pulled by the Wild Bunch. He died on Dec. 17, 1912 in Jackson County, Missouri oat the age of just 45!
    Willard Erastus Christianson, aka:
    Matt Warner
, was both an outlaw and a lawman. Born in Utah in 1864 into a good Mormon family. It wasn't long until he joined up with a band of rustlers to begin his life as an outlaw. It was at this time that he began going by the name of Matt Warner.
He then hooked up with his brother-in-law, outlaw Tom McCarty. In no time, Warner was robbing banks and trains with the likes of Elza Lay and
    Butch Cassidy
    .
Most notably was his involvement, together with a gang of 4 men including Butch Cassidy, for the robbery on
    June 24, 1889
, of the San Miguel Valley Bank in Telluride in which they stole approximately ,000, after which they fled to the Robbers Roost, a remote hideout in southeastern
    Utah
.  Later, WARNER got into a shoot out, that earned him five years in the Utah Sate Prison. Though he received an early release for good behavior.
After his release, he remarried and settled in
    Carbon County
    ,
    Utah
. Warner ran for public office under his real name, Willard Erastus Christianson, and lost. He then had his name officially changed to Matt Warner, the name most people knew him by, and was elected justice of the peace and then served as a deputy sheriff. Later he worked as a night guard and detective in Price,
    Utah
    . He died on
    December 21, 1938
    at the age of seventy-four.
