Here is a very rare early vintage original large autographed page by theater actor Charles Vandenhoff (1852-1901), from 1882, to a fellow thespian with quote from Hamlet. The only one I have come across. It was a conversation with
Charles Vandenhoff about William Barrymore (1759–1830), an early 19th-century English thespian, after seeing a poster depicting Barrymore in the Haymarket Theatre, that led Herbert Arthur Chamberlayne Blythe, father of Lionel, John, and Ethel Barrymore (and great-great grandfather of Drew Barrymore, to take the stage name of Maurice Barrymore. The rest, as they say, is history.
