Description
One of the first vibraphones made in the U.S., a rare Deagan Model 147 from the 1930s. At 2.5 octaves, it's range goes half an octave higher than most vibraphones and it is incredibly portable. Incredible sound and resonance; bars are still well in-tune and its sustain is impressive without resonators. The stand and case/body have a bit of wear and tear. The pedal is a modified Ludwig pedal and works great. The stand looks to be original, though also has a bit of wear and tear. The case and body are mostly wooden.
Motor is variable speed (in the faster range) and makes a minor amount of noise when used.
A great instrument for someone wanting a smaller, easier to transport vibraphone.
