The cut down cabinet card measures 4 in x 5.5 in and is
SIGNED & DATED BY MODJESKA
in 1899. The card does have a broken & repaired corner (see close image) but is not distracting.
The
SIGNED AUTOGRAPH PAGE
measures 4.25 in x 7.25 in and is
dated in August 27, 1877
when Modjeska was touring in the Bay Area and performing at the California Theatre to perform in
'Adrienne Lecouvreur'.
which began showing on August 20.
A nice pair of items worthy of framing for presentation in honor of Poland's most famous actress.
