Lainie Kazan, Pre-Broadway contract to perform in the musical
Funny Girl
as a showgirl, singer, and dancer, signed by Kazan and Associate Producer/General Manager Al Goldin, 1 page, November 12, 1963, 11 by 14 inches, in very good condition.  When the show opened on Broadway on March 26, 1964, Kazan played Vera and was the understudy for Barbra Streisand as Fanny Brice.  The performance by Streisand made her a star.   On one day when Streisand was unable to perform, Kazan played Fanny Brice for one matinee and one evening performance.  The contract comes from the estate of Lainie Kazan.
