Ludwig & Ludwig Folding Glockenspiel - Steel Bars A440

Description

Vintage Ludwig & Ludwig folding glockenspiel. I'm not sure if Ludwig & Ludwig were making there own glockenspiels or if this was actually a Deagan or Leedy that was just branded as L&L.
The bars are 1" wide by about .25" thick.
Bars are made of steel.
Tuned to A440.
Overall length of the instrument is just under 24".
Bars have some rust, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the sound quality.
The felt on the rails is fully intact.
One post insulator is missing, the rest are present and in fairly good condition.
The clasps are original and fully functioning.
The hinges were broken so I replaced them - shown in photos.
One of the accidental rail supports was missing so I took an L bracket and shaped it to match the height and contour of the other support - shown in photos. This is why there are two bolts visible on the top exterior of the case.
The vinyl wrap shows it's age but is in decent enough shape.
The handle is bare metal.
