Dior High Fidelity Eyeshadow Palette (Retail .00 for 0.24 oz.) is a new, permanent eyeshadow palette with a deeper set of neutral shades. It has a new formula that’s supposed to have “highly pigmented” color with “spectacular staying power.” The formula was better than some of the past iterations from Dior, though it was still more semi-opaque to opaque in coverage but had seven to eight-hour wear. The big difference that I noticed was in the texture; it was firmer (but not stiff) in the pan and had less dustiness than some of the past formulations.
What it is:
An eyeshadow palette reinvented in couture style with a new formula.
What it does:
The eyeshadows are enriched with aloe vera and pine oil, the eyeshadows smooth and soften the lids while delivering rich, radiant color.
How to use:
For a natural look, apply the medium shade on the entire eyelid with the round foam tip applicator to open up the eyes. Then add definition by using the foam liner tip applicator to apply the darkest shade along the lashline. Using the brush, highlight with the lightest shade on the brow bone and at the inner corner of the eye to widen the eyes. For a sophisticated look, apply the medium shade on the entire eyelid with the round foam tip applicator to open up the eyes, and then the darker shade along the lashline with the foam liner tip for definition. Blend over the eyelid and outward using the brush. Use the round foam tip applicator to highlight with the lightest shade on the brow bone and at the inner corner of the eye to create even greater contrast and defined eyes.
