Pyrex Rare / HTF Vintage Opal White Nesting Bowl - 4 Qt - Batch Numbered Bottom - No Pyrex Mark - Excellent Condition
This unusual pure white opal mixing bowl is similar to the primary color mixing bowls in size, but hasn't been painted.  This is rare for mixing bowls.
This is a 4 Qt True Opal #404 bowl.
Measures approx. 10" Diameter x 4 1/2" H
Rare HTF true opal Pyrex bowl from the 1950's when the Opal Mixing Bowls were made for a very short time.
Literature indicates that authentic Opal Bowls have no "Pyrex Back stamp", as detailed at the "Corelle Corner" web site:
The unusual feature of Opal bowls is the absence of a backstamp; there is no brand name, model number or capacity marked on the bottom.
This Pyrex Opal Bowl is in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. No chips, no cracks, flea bites or crazing.
