The higher the thread count, the more durable and softer the cover. The higher thread count covers protect down from impurities as well as keep the down inside the comforter.     - Fill power measures the area occupied by one ounce of down. 1 ounce of this high quality down fluffs up to fill 750 cubic inches. This is extremely high quality down and absolutely the best down you will find at this price. You would pay over 0 for this comforter at a local retail store.

    t - Fill weight is different from fill power. While fill power is a measure of the quality of the down, fill weight is simply measures the amount of down in ounces. Higher fill weights means there is more down inside your comforter. Higher fill weight comforters are warmer and more puffy.

    - Down that has gone through a series of steps to remove all the impurities, dirt and dander, will be noted as hypoallergenic or allergy free. Most people are not allergenic to down, but rather, to the impurities within the down. Not all Down Comforters are hypoallergenic
    Baffle Box Construction
    - Baffle box means there are thin strips of material sewn between the top and bottom covers that form a grid of 12" square boxes (called baffles). The baffles prevent the down from shifting to the sides of the comforter.
