Vintage Plastic Sewing Kit with Thimble Top, 3 ½ inches long, marked on rim of needle case “Patent Appl’d For”, probably American, probably 1930’s-40’s, tiny flaw on top rim of red case and bottom rim of thimble from contact with something hot, minor scratches from use, missing thread from 2 spool sections, cream colored plastic thimble pulls off of red case exposing a marbleized cream plastic stopper that rests on top of the needle case/thread holder, the discs between the spools have a carved thread cutter in the plastic, top pulls off to allow access to needles or pins, bottom cream colored plastic knob is stationary, nicely designed for an inexpensive item for on the go repairs.
