    nice clean condition
    this was the original Opal Pyrex - introduced in 1936
    Production of opal ware commenced in 1936 after the merger with MacBeth-Evans Glass Co. of Charleroi, PA.
    The plant there would be used to produce a more durable mess-ware for the military.
    The product would not be branded Pyrex until the debut of kitchenware made from it a decade later.
