Description

Virginia Field( British Film Actress) Signed Letter. Letter is dated Sept 27th and does not have the year date. This appears to be written in 1948 as this letter references rehearsing for the Moss Hart play opening in November in which Virginia Field performed in Moss Hart's " Light up the Sky" that opened November 1948 at the Royale Theatre in New York.
Letter  Reads:
Dear Miss Barnes
Many thanks for your letter & the so kind invitation extended  to me. I would most happy to be included in your Theatre Library, I only hope there is no great rush necessary. You see we are on our last week of rehearsals for the Moss Hart play and are working days & evenings until we leave next Monday for Newhaven or Boston. We open in New York on Nov. 4 & any time after that, I can be available for whatever you need me for_ Would you let me know here whether that will be alright?
